Be Extraordinary, Be You
The Bachhus Family presented on the dangers of THC - particularly today’s potent marijuana - on the developing brain. They provided education and resources to bring awareness to youth and adults working with youth.

VapeEducate
Monticello High School purchased the VapeEducate curriculum. It is used for students who are vaping as an educational tool and part of the restorative or educational process to inform them of their choices and give them a path to think about their behavior.

Tobacco/Vaping Curriculum
Monticello High School received funding for the American Lung Association's N.O.T (Not On Tobacco) Youth Cessation Facilitator Training. Through this training, they are able to offer a more holistic program to the students who repeatedly show up in the Dean of Student's office for tobacco/vape reports.

A Reality Check
Rogers High School held an event called "A Reality Check" for 9th graders. Outside speakers covered the topics of career exploration, financial awareness and budgeting, healthy relationships, and online safety.

Vape Quit Kits
Funds were used to support Buffalo High School students who are interested in quitting using vapes by providing a quit kit. The kits include resources, fidgets, mints, a journal, and other tools that can help students cope with stress without vaping.

Elementary Mentor Program
Howard Lake - Waverly - Winsted School district continued supporting their program that provides student-to-student mentorship to K-4th graders. Each month, small groups meet to discuss real life situations and are given tools and examples to problem solve and resolve issues.

Respect & Resiliency
This assembly and small group approach helped students rebuild their ability to cope and respond to life's difficulties. Speaker Craig Hillier broke down many misconceptions that are presented as truths in our culture.

The Turn
This grant provided positive reinforcement to Drug Court participants in the way of incentives for positive behavior, group celebrations for milestones achieved, etc. These incentives are a form of encouragement and reinforce positive behavior, sobriety, and healthy choices made by each participant. This assists with promoting recovery and restoring families.

HLWW Community Symposium
The goal of the symposium was to increase awareness for students, parents, and community members regarding drugs, alcohol, and other tough topics that are impacting our communities. With more education, the community will be better equipped to avoid and deal with these problems to make our school and community safer.

VapeEducate
VapeEducate is an online course consisting of 7 units. Delano High School students with a vaping citation complete a mini-quiz, test and reflection statement at the end of each unit. Students must complete each section before moving on and score 80% or better on each unit assessment.

VapeEducate
VapeEducate is an online web based program that has 5 units that can be administered at wRight Choice. Training topics include; "What is Vaping?", "Vaping Health Risks", "How Marketing Targets the Young", "Vape Addiction", and "Society, Vaping and You."

Irish Mentors
Irish Mentors gives presentations to Maple Lake 5th and 6th-grade classes
about the dangers of vaping and using tobacco products. Prizes and educational materials are used to encourage participation from the students. Alcohol awareness information is also provided to 9-12th graders.

The Turn
The Wright County Adult Drug Court program aims to enhance the cost-effectiveness of the county criminal justice system by providing intensive case management, treatment, and court supervision for individuals arrested for drug related offenses.

D.A.R.E
This program serves youth living in Wright County and is taught at
11 schools across the county. Lessons address making good choices related to tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs. The program also addresses health effects, stress management, strategies for resisting and what it means to be a good citizen in the community. D.A.R.E works to emphasize how choices the kids make now can and do have an impact on their lives later.

HLWW Elementary Laker Proud
This program is used to build relationships throughout the school in order to have a positive impact on students. Small groups work to make connections, strengthen relationships, build social skills, confidence, a growth mindset, and a stronger community.
