Steps to Participate in the Contest

Step One: Request appropriate size paper or use what you have if it meets the requirements. Digital creators, go to Step Two. If you need poster paper, contact Lily at (763) 682-8922 or email lily.yang@wrightcountymn.gov. Teachers can request bulk paper for classrooms!
Step Two: Using the list below, choose the statistic you will highlight on your poster.
Step Three: Let the fun begin! Create your poster by hand or using digital media.

Step Five: Come back April 1st to vote for your top three favorite poster submissions. Voting link will be live April 1st.
- 91% of Wright County 11th graders think people risk harming themselves physically or in other ways if they smoke one or more packs of cigarettes per day.
- Wright County youth that say their parents would feel it was wrong or very wrong for them to use cannabis = 92%.
- The majority of Wright County 9th and 10th graders say their friends think it’s wrong or very wrong to use cannabis.
- Over 3/4 of middle and high school students in Wright County feel that using prescriptions medications not prescribed to them risk harming themselves physically or in other ways.
- MOST Wright County high schoolers don’t use tobacco or vape in a typical month.
- Over 90% of Wright County middle and high school students don’t drink alcohol in a typical month.
- ZERO. The amount of alcohol use in the last month reported by 5 of 6 Wright County 11th graders.
- 95% of Wright County middle and high school students DON’T use cannabis in a typical month.
- ZERO. The number of times most Wright County 8th and 9th grade students have ever used cannabis.
- 4/5 of Wright County 8th graders reported NO alcohol, tobacco or other drug use in the past year.
- 91 % of Wright County middle and high schoolers have not vaped in the last 30 days.
